Cons:
❌ Doors Aren't Soundproof— Noise from the hallway, including slamming doors, conversations, and children's cries, can be heard inside the room.
❌ Unstable Wi-Fi—My calls on instant messaging apps were frequently cut short due to connection issues. Laptop work was also frustrating, as pages loaded slowly or not at all.

I booked the King Palm Room for a5-day stayfor 9,659.79 AED (€2432.15).
I found the Palm Atlantis experience to be thebest hotel experience for most people, especially first-time visitors to Dubai. Everybody should experience it at least once in their lives.
It is affordable, offers a wide range of activities and dining options, and provides thebest value for your money.
Atlantis The Palm is aluxury 5-star resortlocated at thecenter of Palm Jumeirah's crescent, withdirect access to Aquaventure Waterparkand the Palm Monorail.
I chose to stay in the most affordable option, thePalm King Room, which offers views of the city and the central part of Palm Jumeirah, rather than the Oceanside view with little to see.
The room waselegant and budget-friendly(€400-500, all-inclusive), featuring a comfortable bed, a fabulous bathroom, a practical work desk, and stunning views of Palm Jumeirah and the Dubai cityscape.
The service was consistently exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to assist me at every juncture, and they were hospitable and welcoming, including the housekeeping, security, and restaurant personnel.
Housekeeping even surprised me with small gifts, such as a mousepad and a sunglass cloth.
Dining options are extensive, with 15 restaurants onsite, including buffets and restaurants offering Indian, Arabic, Japanese, Italian, British, Mexican, Lebanese, seafood, and more.
Facilitiesspan lush outdoor gardens, private beaches, pools, lounges, a full aquarium, a spa, a gym, and kids' clubs.
The main drawbacks werepoor WiFiandnoise from the hallwaydue to inadequate door insulation, which seems to be a common issue in hotels.
The overall experience is designed for fun, comfort and enjoyment, with a continuous focus on guest satisfaction. There’s always something to do here.
The Palm Atlantis provides excellent value on Palm Island, especially for families. It's the best-all-around option for everyone, including couples, groups, and or solo travellers (like me).
If I'm in Dubai again,I'd absolutely return.

2. 🏆 Atlantis The Royal (Most Luxurious and High-End Palm Hotel)

Pros:
✔️Most Luxy Hotel— This 5-star hotel has everything for the "highest status" luxury Palm Jumeirah hotel experience.
✔️Waterpark Entry Included— Enjoy free access to Aquaventure World, featuring exciting water slides, tunnels, and falls, along with a private beach.
✔️ Royal Treatment— From the moment you set foot in the Royal Atlantis, every hotel staff member strives to make your stay as pleasant as possible. You'll truly feel like a cherished guest.
✔️ Free Breakfast Buffet— Enjoy a diverse selection of expertly prepared cuisines for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, including Indian, Arabic, Mexican, British, Japanese, Lebanese, seafood and steaks. Same food served as is in the Palm Atlantis.
✔️ Michelin Star and Casual Restaurants— You have access to top notch restaurants on site, such as Ling Ling, Nobu by the Beach, La mar, Malibu, Milos, Ariana's Persian Kitchen, Elements and dinner by Heshton Bluemnethal. Included with half board.
✔️ Waterpark Entry Included—
Enjoy swimming and meeting with dolphins and sea lions, diving, a huge selection of waterslides, surfing or the beach.
✔️ Couple Friendly— This hotel is way less frequented by families, so there's less kids running around and the facilities are more adult-oriented.
✔️ Instagram Worthy— If you want to show off on Instagram, this is the place to do it.
✔️ Atlantis The Palm Entry— You can visit the Aquavarium and other attractions inside the Palm Atlantis for free.
Cons:
❌ Expensive— Prices start from €1000 a night for a standard room in the off-season and can double or triple for the high-season.
❌ Noise After Midnight— This was likely a one-off, but someone started working with an angle grinder after midnight. Thankfully, the balcony door is soundproof.

Summary
💡 I booked the Palmscape King Room for a 1-day stay at 5,242.19 AED (€1251.63) but was upgraded for free to a Sky Terrace Suite. Atlantis The Royal sits on the Palm Jumeirah crescent, next to Aquaventure and the Palm Monorail. It’s the more modern, exclusive counterpart to Atlantis The Palm—tailored for adults, couples, and luxury-focused groups.
The Sky Terrace Suite on the 9th floor was exceptional: two balconies with skyline views, two king bedrooms, a walk-in wardrobe, and a high-end bathroom. Tech perks like smart toilets, touch lighting, and digital controls added a sleek, intuitive touch.
Service was flawless—professional, warm, and detail-oriented throughout.
Dining is a highlight. With 17+ venues, including Dinner by Heston Blumenthal and Ariana’s Kitchen, options range from refined to relaxed. Ariana’s served the best Persian food I’ve had. However, Gastronomy’s buffet mirrored Atlantis The Palm’s, so it didn’t feel new if you’ve stayed there before.
Facilities include a private beach, AWAKEN Spa, gym, and access to Atlantis The Palm’s attractions. There’s no general rooftop pool—Cloud 22 is for suite guests or reservations only.
The vibe is upscale and relaxed, aimed more at adults than families. It’s expensive—roughly double the cost of Atlantis The Palm—but if you’re after luxury, you get what you pay for. I’d absolutely stay again.

3. 🏆 Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort

Summary
💡 I booked the Premier Lagoon View Room for a 1-day stay for 1,818.17 AED (€434.74). Anantara The Palm takes a different approach from the big-name resorts on the island. Instead of size and spectacle, it focuses on calm, tropical design, with lagoons, palm trees, and private villas spread across a peaceful, low-rise property.
The room had a balcony overlooking the lagoon. Only ground-floor rooms have direct water access. The design was clean and modern.
Service was excellent. I was greeted with a cold towel and tea, then driven to my room by golf cart. Staff were consistently polite, efficient, and attentive throughout the stay.
Anantara offers a solid mix of restaurants focusing on Arabic, Asian, and Indian cuisine. I found the food to be of good quality, but the buffet was noticeably less varied and refined than what Atlantis offers.
Facilities include lagoon-style swimming areas, a central pool, a private beach, a hammam spa, gym, and water activities like kayaking and paddleboarding.
The overall setting is calm, resort-like, and immersive—more laid-back than flashy. It offers a good mix of energy at the main pool and quiet in the villa / lagoon zones.
Anantara sits in the mid-range price bracket for Palm Jumeirah, around the same level as Atlantis The Palm. It’s well-suited for all traveler types—families, couples, or groups. I’d absolutely return.

.webp)
- Overall, thebreakfast was excellent. Of course, if you're seeking the absolute maximum in quality and variety, nothing surpasses what's offered at the Atlantis.
Lunch
- I had a half-board meal plan, and breakfast was almost always enough to last until dinner, so I don't have extensive experience with lunch.
- With a full-board option, you can still choose the Crescendo, but the hotel also features separateAustralian, Asian, and Mediterranean restaurants, as well as acaféandbeachfront snack-style eateries.
Dinner
.webp)
- The buffet dinner is also served at theCrescendorestaurant, available from 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM.
.webp)
- As the picture shows, the dinner selection here clearly features a much strongerAsian and especially Arabian presence.
.webp)
- The same is noticeable with the desserts. The flavors and quality were impeccable.
.webp)
- Let's go over the offerings. We'll start with thedessert section, where I had the pleasure of trying manyuncommon sweets.
.webp)
- Continuing with the dessert section, it might immediately strike you that there arefewer international optionsin the dessert repertoire. However, I can assure everyone that youwon't be disappointedby the selection available.
.webp)
- The only problem is that our stomachs aren't bottomless. :(
.webp)
- For those who prioritize a healthier diet, thefruit section will be a great delight.
.webp)
- We've now reached themain course section, where you'll immediately find a wide variety ofIndian-inspired dishes.

- More shawarma!
.webp)
- Next, you'll find aseparate hummus section.
.webp)
- Next, we arrive at a section with anexceptionally colorful selection of salads.
.webp)
- Seafood lovers won't be disappointed either, although the selection doesn't include items like sushi.
.webp)
- Next, we arrive at a very interestingbread section, where there are more bread varieties than one might expect. Great for dipping!
.webp)
- I highly recommend that everyone tries thekunafaas well. I certainly went back for seconds!
Indoor Areas
.webp)
- Upon entering the hotel, guests arrive in aspacious, subtly perfumed lobbythat offers comfortable seating.
.webp)
- The lobby is decorated in anauthentic Thai interior design style.
.webp)
- I found aminiature model of the hotel, which provides an excellent overview of the resort's offerings.
.webp)
- Upon entering, you'll immediately find theCrescendo buffet restaurantstraight ahead – this is where half-board guests will dine.
.webp)
- Upon entering the lobby, to its left, you'll discover alounge barwhere guests can enjoy various food and drinks while taking in beautiful views.

4. 🏆 FIVE Palm Jumeirah Hotel
.webp)

Summary
💡 I booked the Superior Room for a 1-day stay for 998.18 AED (€238.67), but was upgraded to the Luxe Sea View at no extra charge. FIVE Palm Jumeirah is a luxury party focused hotel located on the trunk of the Palm, blending a beach club vibe by day with a nightlife-focused energy after dark.
The Luxe Sea View room was modern, clean, and comfortable, with good views. While not ultra-luxurious, it delivered well for the price—stylish and functional, with no unnecessary extras.
Service was solid throughout. Check-in was smooth, and staff were polite and responsive. When I got sick, they helped arrange a pharmacy and food delivery, which I appreciated.
Food quality was decent but forgettable. The selection was fine, but nothing matched the standard or variety of higher-end resorts like Atlantis. Dining here plays second fiddle to the social experience.
Facilities include a social pool, private beach, rooftop pool, and beach club, all built around a party-focused atmosphere. The hotel is also home to The Penthouse, one of Dubai’s top rooftop lounges, along with a spa, gym, and event spaces.
The overall vibe is young, flashy, and social. Daytimes are relaxed and chill; nights shift into party mode. You won’t find much serenity here, and it’s not designed for families or travelers seeking quiet.
No major downsides, but this isn’t a match for those looking for ultra-luxury or a peaceful retreat. It knows its niche and leans into it hard.
FIVE Palm is on the lower end of the luxury pricing scale for the Palm, and it offers great value for social travelers who care more about energy and aesthetics than refinement. I’d return—but only if I were in the mood to socialize and party.

- Check-in starts at 3 PM, and check-out is at 12 PM. The process was efficient and smooth. As soon as I exited my Uber, thestaff promptly took my luggage to my roomand provided me with a ticket to track it.
- Otherwise, there wasn't any special gesture from the hotel staff upon arrival.
.webp)
Bedroom / Living Room

- I had originally booked aSuperior Roomat the FIVE Palm Jumeirah Dubai, but I was fortunate enough to receive a complimentary upgrade to aLuxe Sea View room, which I'll be detailing.
- The room itself was quitecompact. Everything was in order, but there was nothing particularly outstanding about it, and itdidn't have a balcony. My impression was that it's primarily designed for sleeping and getting ready, with guests spending the better part of their day outside the room.

- Thebed and pillows were comfortable. On the nightstand beside the bed, you'll find variouselectrical outlets, filtered water, and other amenities.
.webp)
- In the room, you'll find aNespresso coffee machine, coffee capsules, cups, utensils, and tea, all providedfree of charge. On the other hand, for an extra fee, you can access theminibar, which offers awide selection of alcoholic beverages, condoms, and various snacks.

- Theview was absolutely beautiful. The room overlooked thebeach, the promenade, and the Dubai cityscape. Unfortunately, this particular roomdid not come with a balcony. It's highly recommended to book a room with a balcony, especially during the not-too-hot winter season, so you can comfortably enjoy Dubai from outside.
.webp)
- While the room doesn't include a universal power adapter, you caneasily request one from the reception desk.

- Beyond that, the room includes asmall armchair and a glass table, which aren't ideal for working or using a laptop, but perfect for enjoying a Jack Daniels.
.webp)
- Below the television (opposite of the bed), there's anarrow, wall-mounted desk and chair, which is a much better setup for operating a laptop.
Bathroom
.webp)
- Regarding thebathroom, I can say that it was alsoadequate and compact, but nothing outstanding. It features a decentbathtub, ashower, and abidet, along with all the basic necessities liketowels, a hairdryer, a vanity kit, soap, shampoo, and so on.

- The bathtub is comfortable, but due to its placement, it's not possible to fully stretch out, as the wall prevents it—at least for taller people like me. Otherwise, you can comfortably sit up in it. Amenities like bubble bath gel or a brush were not provided.

In the bathroom, you'll find aclassic vanity kit, which contains essential toiletries forear, teeth, and skin cleaning.

- Naturally, the bathroom also includes atoilet and bidet, which look like this.

- Finally, here's theshower, which is equipped withshampoo, shower gel, and conditioner.

Breakfast
.webp)
- The breakfast section at the FIVE Palm wasadequate, but both thevariety and quality were average. While most classic hotel breakfast items were available, itdoesn't come close to what the Atlantis offers.
- Now let's look at the offerings. We'll start with the classicmuesli section.
.webp)
- Next up is thebeverage section, where you can choose from a variety offruit juices.
.webp)
- Next is the classicbakery section, featuring croissants, muffins, and doughnuts.
.webp)
- And of course, thefresh fruit sectionis also available, featuring watermelon, bananas, mango, and various fruit yogurts, among other options.
.webp)
- Next, there was acooked food section.
.webp)
- After that comes agreen salad section.
.webp)
- Naturally, there's also a breakfast section featuringeggs and bacon.
.webp)
Naturally, there's also a breakfast section featuringeggs and bacon.
- What I particularly liked about the cafeteria was theopen-air section, which I found incredibly iconic. The combination of the pool, relaxed environment and the FIVE Palm's trendy design simply created a wonderfullyatmospheric ambiancefor me.
.webp)
- After having breakfast, it turned out there was asimilarly atmospheric second indoor breakfast section.
.webp)
- Here, they serve theexact same dishesas in the other breakfast area.
.webp)
- I personally found thefood presentation much more appealinghere.
.webp)
- And finally, there's also aclassic bread section.
Lunch
- If you're on ahalf-board plan, there's really no need to worry about lunch. Ahearty breakfastwill easily keep you going until 6 PM, when dinner service begins.
- However, if you do find yourself craving a bite, awealth of dining optionsawait you both within and outside the hotel.
Dinner
- Unfortunately, due to illness, I wasn't able to attend dinner, but that's something I'll make up for in the future. Let's take a look at thedinner optionsavailable.
- BLVD on One– International brasserie with indoor and outdoor seating. Known for its bigbuffet breakfasts(Middle Eastern, Asian, and Western options), plus relaxed all-day dining.
- Cinque– Vibrant Italian restaurant inspired by the Amalfi Coast. Serveshandmade pastas, seafood, and rich dessertsin a lively, colorful setting.
- Maiden Shanghai– Award-winningChinese fine diningspot offering Cantonese, Sichuan, and Beijing classics, allMSG-free. Has a rooftop terrace with skyline views.
- Praia–Beachfront Mediterranean restaurantby the pool and private beach. Focuses on fresh seafood, tapas-style sharing plates, and cocktails at sunset.

- The Delisserie– A chic café and bakery withpastries, cakes, fresh juices, and light meals— perfect for a casual coffee or quick bite.
- Pool Bar– Swim-up style bar offeringsnacks, burgers, salads, and cocktailsfor a laid-back poolside experience.
Indoor Areas
- Overall, there isn't a huge amount to do or seeinside the hotel itself. The hotel's true strength lies in itsoutdoor pool and beach areas, which are the hub for all the parties and events.
.webp)
- As soon as you step into the FIVE Palm lobby, you're greeted by aninteresting, bright, and glassy space. Here, you can simply look around or head right or left, where you'll find the reception, restaurants, and elevators. Personally, I really liked this lobby.
.webp)
- On the right you'll find what is normally anItalian restaurant, but in the mornings, it transforms into abuffet breakfastarea.
- On this same side, you'll also find thereception desk, though unfortunately, I don't have a picture of it.
.webp)
- This is what theItalian restaurantlooks like inside, which I've already described in more detail in the breakfast section.
.webp)
- To the left, you'll find awaiting areawhere you can also sit down and book services with theconcierge. The entrance to thebuffet breakfastis located here as well.
Outdoor Areas
.webp)
- Stepping out onto the terrace of the FIVE Palm hotel, you're immediately greeted by itssignature pool. During the day, it's a perfect spot to relax poolside, while in the evenings, it transforms into the venue for vibrantpool parties.
.webp)
- There areplenty of sun loungerson both sides of the pool where you can relax, have drinks, and more.
.webp)
- You also have the option toenjoy drinks inside the pool, where you can conveniently store your beverages on small tables.
.webp)
- To the left of the pool, in the mornings, there's abuffet breakfastarea with tables and chairs. During the day, it operates as abar restaurant.
.webp)
- As we continue, we findmore sun loungers and seating areas.
.webp)
- After a short walk down some stairs, you'll find achilled-out restaurant lounge, which, fortunately, isshaded.
.webp)
- One part of this area has a classictable-and-chair restaurant setup, while the other offers ahigh-stool bar-like atmosphere.
.webp)
- Continuing our journey, we step out onto one of thePalm Jumeirah's famous promenades. As you stroll along, you'll discover countlessshops, restaurants, bars, clubs, and hotels.
.webp)
- Continuing straight ahead, we finally reach theFIVE Palm's private beach area, where you can choose asun lounger, umbrella, or cabanafor sunbathing and relaxing by the sea.
.webp)
- To the right, you're immediately greeted by arestaurant and bar area.
.webp)
- Meanwhile, the iconic hotels of the Palm Jumeirah trunk arewithin sight, just a1-minute walk away.
.webp)
- Thebeach itself in Dubai isn't groundbreaking. During the peak winter season, the water can be unpleasantly cold, and the sand is quite coarse, which can irritate your feet. This is true for all hotels. However, at the FIVE Palm, theview of the Dubai cityscape is exceptionally beautiful.
.webp)
- The sun loungers arefree for guests. Naturally, you can alsoorder various refreshments to your sun lounger.

Service & Hospitality
- I spent a day at the FIVE Palm and unfortunately fell ill. Despite this, I wassatisfied with the treatment from the hotel staff. As in all five-star hotels, my luggage was immediately taken to my room. Check-in at reception was quick, and they were very kind to me. I even received acomplimentary room upgrade.
- I didn't have much interaction with the security team, but my interaction with an indoor colleague was normal. I asked an outdoor security guard for directions, and he directed me very decisively and concisely. He actually seemed a bit like club security, a bit more intimidating, but my interaction wasn't negative. However, the security staff at other hotels made a better impression.
- Overall, I wassatisfied with the employees, but I missed those small, unexpected gestures and a slightly warmer welcome.
5. 🏆 Rixos The Palm Hotel & Suites

Summary
💡 I booked the Premium Room, Garden View for a 2-day stay for 8,149.68 AED (€1,948.66). Rixos The Palm is positioned as a luxury all-inclusive resort at the far end of the Palm’s crescent, offering skyline views and a family-friendly setup. Despite its premium pricing, it did not deliver the level of luxury or service expected at this rate.
The room was large, bright, and functional, but the generic decor and lack of refinement made it feel more like a mid-tier all-inclusive. Nothing stood out as particularly luxurious.
Service was inconsistent. Some staff were helpful, but others, especially in the buffet area, felt disengaged or unprofessional.
Dining included access to multiple restaurants under the all-inclusive plan (I only had breakfast included), but the buffet food was basic and leaned heavily on Russian-style dishes. Both quality and variety were underwhelming, especially compared to similarly priced hotels like Atlantis The Palm.
Facilities include a large main pool, private beach, fitness center, spa with Turkish hammam, and daily entertainment. The Rixy Kids Club, children’s pool, and family suites make it clear the resort is built around family travel.
The atmosphere is quiet, casual, and geared toward families, with a strong presence of Russian guests during my stay. It’s remote, located at the far end of the Palm, meaning longer drive times to central attractions.
The biggest downside is poor value. At over €1,000 per night, I expected top-tier luxury. Instead, I got an average all-inclusive that would feel fair at third the price.
Based on experience across the Palm, I would not return.

- I wasunable to check in early, so I had to wait in the lobby. However, I was pleasantly surprised with acomplimentary room upgrade.
Bedroom / Living Room
.webp)
- My first impression of the room is that there isnothing wrong with it, but it's not outstandingly good either.

- It's spacious and bright, the bed is large and comfortable, there are two cozy armchairs, and a sofa with a table. There's also a pretty good balcony, though unfortunately the view isn't spectacular. But to be honest,I wasn't blown away.
Food and Drinks Station

- Each room features a complimentary drink and snack station with aNespresso machine, coffee capsules, tea, instant coffee andbottled water.

- The first drawer contains a selection of cups and glasses alongside the tea and coffee.

The Wardrobe
.webp)
- Thewardrobecontains hangers, bathrobes, an iron, an ironing board, and slippers.
.webp)
- Asafe, prayingm at and Quranis also available in the room.
.webp)
The Bed

- While theking-size bedwas quitespacious and comfortable, the pillows were a little too firm for my liking.

- On the "bed wall", you can find a smart panel, electrical outlets, and a light switch.

- The room features a comfortable sofa with a glass table, but there is no separate work desk.

- There are alsotwo armchairsand a small coffee table in the room.

- Thebalconyalso had two comfortable chairs and a small table. Unfortunately, palmtrees partially obstructed the view, and I wish I had asked for a different room. While the trees are not an issue on the upper floors, the building is only five stories tall, so a truly high vantage point with a cityscape view isn't possible.
.webp)
- The area directly below my balcony was primarily active in the evenings, with booth seating surrounded by water.
.webp)
Bathroom
.webp)
- My only complaint about the bathroom is that, contrary to the pictures, there was no door next to the bathtub that opened into the living room.
- Otherwise, it was fully equipped, providingtowels, ahairdryer, bathrobes, shampoo, shower gel, and avanity kit. For convenience, it was also equipped with ashower, abathtub, and abidet.
.webp)
- Enjoy perfect water pressure and aconsistent temperaturewith no sudden fluctuations. And, as expected from a five-star standard, shampoo, conditioner, andshower gelare all provided.
.webp)
- The bathroom also includes a standardtoilet and bidet.

- Thevanity kit includes cotton pads, cotton buds, a bamboo comb, a dental kit, mouthwash, an emery board, and bubble bath gel.

- The bathroom is equipped with abathtuband all the essentials, includingshampoo, shower gel, andconditioner, though these are located in the shower rather than by the tub.
- Thebathtubitself was quite spacious, with the faucet positioned to allow you to fully stretch out and relax.

Breakfast
.webp)
- The breakfast was satisfactory overall, but it certainly wasn't exceptional. It didn't come close to the standard set by the Atlantis, which is the benchmark for hotels on Palm Jumeirah. As for the staff, while they performed their duties, they were not particularly friendly or energetic. The breakfast selection leaned heavily towards Russian cuisine.
.webp)
- The buffet breakfast is served at the A La Turca restaurant between7:00am and 11:00am.
.webp)
- Starting off, the selection includes aclassic pastry sectionwith items like croissants, pretzels and doughnuts.
.webp)
- And even morepastry goods.
.webp)
- Next, there was a quite variedbreadsection.
.webp)
- Next, you can find a section withRussian-style pickles.
.webp)
- I also have to mention thehoneycomb, which I found to be a rather unique offering.
.webp)
- Following that was a section withcuredmeats, salamis, andcold cuts.
.webp)
- Naturally, there was also a section with varioushot dishes.
.webp)
- Next, we have a classicfruitsection.
.webp)
- Next, there was a classic breakfast section offeringyogurts.
.webp)
- The classiceggsandbaconsection was also available.
.webp)
- Following that was a section dedicated todried fruits, nuts, and olives, each in their own separate box.
.webp)
- Next, you can find a classicmuesliandcerealsection.
.webp)
- Next, there was a vast selection ofjamsandcompotes.
.webp)
- Next, there was a classic section withfresh vegetables.

Dinner
.webp)
- Lunch was similar to breakfast, offering alarge selectionwith okay flavors / quality. However, there was ultimatelynothing that trulystood out.
.webp)
- Guests certainly won't find a shortage ofdesserts, which arebeautifully presented. However, while the flavors are mostly good, they are not exceptional.
.webp)
- They most certainly have a huge selection ofdesserts.
.webp)
- Full already? Have another slice.
.webp)
- You can also try a wide variety ofcheeseshere, as one might expect.
.webp)
- Thepickleselection for dinner was nearly identical to what was available at breakfast.
.webp)
- The situation was better with thehot dishesdepartment.
.webp)
- Continuing with the main hot dishes.
.webp)
- Next, there's a classic (I'm not even sure) section. Sorry.
.webp)
- The next section is dedicated tosteameddishes.
.webp)
- Next, there was a freshsaladsection.
.webp)
- Finally, even more mains.
Indoor Areas
Lobby

- The hotel lobby is the most significant part of the indoor space, as there isn't much else to do or see inside.
- My only complaint, and I apologize for repeating this, is that for the same price, I could have stayed at theRoyal Atlantis. The lobby, in my opinion, simply did not deliver theultra-luxury qualitythat one would expect at this price point.

- Upon entry, you step into avast areafeaturingseating, a few shops from less-familiar brands, and theconcierge.

- Go down the stairs to the left of the entrance to reach theoutdoor areaor theA la Turca buffet restaurant, which serves both breakfast and dinner.

- There are one or twoluxury brandshops in the lobby, but they are not from well-known brands.

- A small cafe is also available, offeringcomplimentary snacks and drinks.

- There is not much to see in thiscorridorother than a few seating areas. It serves as the pathway from the lobby to the otherwise excellentgym.
Outdoor Areas
.webp)
- First, take a quick detour to asecluded open-air area. Here, you'll findcabanaswithprivacy curtains, nestled within a water feature and complete witharmchairsfor casual relaxation.
.webp)
- Leaving the main building, you step out into the hotel'svast outdoor area.
.webp)
- Immediately to the left is the open-air section of theA La Turca buffet restaurant, complete with tables for dining.
.webp)
- To the left, you can reserve semi-coveredluxurious poolside beds,
.webp)
- Next, you will arrive at the large central pool area, where you'll find theBodrum restaurant. It is important to note that this eatery primarily offers drinks and beach-friendly snacks rather than full meals.
.webp)
- The pool area is very child- and family-friendly, so you should not expect muchquiethere.
.webp)
- The rows ofsunbedsat the pool felt a bit too crowded and were placed too closely together for my liking.
.webp)
- There is acovered outdoor areawherefitness classesare held for guests.
.webp)
- There is also a very interestinggym sectionfilled withwooden hand weights.
.webp)
- Continuing on, you will reach a quieter beach section and a bay where aluxury yachtis docked which can be rented.
.webp)
- Water sports enthusiasts have several options available, such asjetskiing, water skiing, banana boating, and more.
.webp)
- This map provides a general overview of the hotel from abird's-eye view.
.webp)
- Continuing on, you will find a restaurant withoutdoor seatingand astage, which likely hosts various shows.
.webp)
- A beach area is classically packed withsunbeds, and there is a designatedswimming areain the sea.
.webp)
- More beach!
.webp)
- You can also rent unique, wooden boat & sunbed combos, which would likely impress children.
.webp)
- There is also a largegrassy areawhere guests were playingsoccer.
.webp)
- Next, there is alap poolfor guests who wish to do some serious swimming.
.webp)
- There is a dedicated,high-quality play areafor children, which is both separate and supervised. It features a minimerry-go-round, andsunbedsare also available for adults who want to relax while keeping an eye on their children.
.webp)
- There is also another part of the play area that is just like a small playground, complete with asandpitandclimbing structures.
.webp)
- You'll also find aslide.
.webp)
- A secondpool areais located at the back of the hotel.
.webp)
- Additionally, you will find a smalljacuzzipool here.
.webp)
- The first pool also features a veryshallow,child-friendlysection.
Other Facilities

.webp)
- I was pleasantly surprised to find that thegymat the Rixos is exceptionallywell-equipped. It is open from7 AM to 9 PM.
.webp)
- The gym is quite well-equipped. TheTechnogymmachines arenewandhigh-quality. While the room is not huge, you can find the main machines for every muscle group.
.webp)
- You can findtowelsandwaterin the gym, free of charge.
Rixy Kid's Club
- TheRixy Kids Clubat Rixos The Palm Dubai is an well-equipped facility that stands out for its wide range of activities and dedicated staff.
- The club provides an incredible variety of activities, from fun, hands-on experiences to unique outdoor adventures. Children can participate in creative pursuits likecanvas and bag painting, and engage in dynamic activities likekids fly yogaand even adragon boat trip.
- The club also offers a diverse program of children’sevening entertainment. The animation team is a huge part of the club's success, with their incredible effort and care in looking after the children.
- The staff's personalized attention, such as a team member taking the time to get to know a child so well, is a common experience, and it is a testament to the club's appeal that children often struggle to leave.
Spa
- The Anjana Spa at Rixos The Palm Dubai is a Turkish-inspired spa known for its focus on traditional Hammam rituals. It provides a luxurious and serene escape, offering a wide array of treatments from authentic Turkish experiences to various massages, facials, and body therapies.

It operates from 9 AM to 9 PM and is an adults-only space, welcoming guests aged 16 and above.
Service & Hospitality
From the luggage handler to the concierge, the staff was kind and efficient, and they fulfilled all my needs. An early check-in was not possible, so I had to wait, but I understand that this depends on room availability and I didn't give prior notice. A kind hotel employee even accompanied me to my room with my luggage.
However, the staff at the main buffet restaurant was less perfect. While they did their jobs, they were not particularly cheerful or energetic. Elsewhere, I had no issues with the staff, including those in other restaurants, security, and the gym receptionist.
Overall, there was a sense ofwearinessamong the staff. They were not as consistently kind and professional as the staff at the benchmark hotel, the Atlantis. 3.5 out of 5.
